  • Starved Rock State Park is 4 miles away (9 minute drive). Matthiessen State Park is 6.5 miles away (13 minute drive). Buffalo Rock State Park is 8.6 miles away (14 minute drive).

  • Yes. The Voss family owns and operates this campground, with the goal of creating a family-focused environment for employees and guests alike.

  • No, but we offer reduced monthly rates for anyone who wants to stay one month or longer. Guests are welcome to stay any amount of time.

  • Yes, most of our RV sites have water, electric, and sewer hookups. A select few sites only have water and electric, but we do have a dump station available for guests to use.

  • Yes, we have several primitive tent camping sites available.

  • Yes, we are open all year round. Guests are required to provide and utilize heat tape and a heated hose for water use in the winter months to prevent freezing. Please contact us if you have any questions about winter camping.

    NOTE: Bathrooms are closed from November 1 - April 1.

  • Yes, it is conveniently located on the property for guests to use if needed.

  • Yes, we allow up to 3 dogs per site, and it is our goal in the future to have a dog park available. Some reasonable rules and restrictions apply to guard the peace and safety of all guests.

  • Yes. The pool will be open between 9:00 am and 9:00 pm. All children under 16 years of age must be supervised by an adult. No lifeguard on duty.

  • Yes. Our shower house is available near the back of the campground, closest to the tent camping area. It features a men’s bathroom and a women’s bathroom, with three stalls and three showers in each.

    NOTE: Bathrooms are closed from November 1 - April 1.

  • Yes, we have an internet café available at the main building where our office and camp store are located.

  • Yes.

  • Updated 3/15/22: Cancellations made longer than one week (8+ days) before the arrival date will be given a full refund, minus the $25 transaction fee. Cancellations made within 1 week (0 -7 days) of arrival date, will not be refunded.

  • All mowing and weed eating is done by our landscaping crew on Thursdays and Fridays.

  • We ask Guess to be checked in no earlier than 2:00pm and check out by 11:00am.
